Services Held for Stuart Anderson
Stuart Anderson, 51, Estherville, died early Sunday [September 6, 1970] morning. He was born March 19, 1919, at Reinbeck. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Sam Anderson. He came to the Ringsted area in 1926.

On Feb. 25, 1946, he was married to Dora Mein, at Estherville. They farmed in the Estherville, Ringsted area. He later did road construction work. Mrs. Anderson died Oct. 11, 1968.

Survivors are four daughters, Marsha and Marlene of Dolliver, Anita and Ruby K. of Ringsted; two sons, Marlin of Estherville, and Carl of Clarion; his mother, Mrs. Sam Anderson of Armstrong; two brothers, Gail of Omaha, Neb.; and Rex of Estherville; four sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Charlotte) Matthes of Clinton, Mo.; Mrs. Raymond (Elizabeth) Vacura, Jackson; Mrs. Alvin (Edith) Clabaugh, ad Mrs. Alton (Margaret) Clabaugh, Dolliver. He was preceded in death by his wife, father and sister, Marilyn.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lloyd Jacobsen officiating. Burial was in High Lake Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Roy Enerson, David Eubank, John Higgins, Alan Kreiger, Robert Tenney, William Woods. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 8, 1970)
