Immigrated about 1891; married Peter Lang about 1902.

Mrs. Lena Sommer Lang, wife of Peter Lang, died at Finley hospital last evening at 8:30 o'clock. She had been an invalid for several years but was not seriously ill until last October.
Mrs. Lang was born in Switzerland, Sept. 5, 49 years ago and came to America at the age of seven, settling in Dubuque where she had since resided.
She was a Catholic and a faithful attendant of St. Mary's parish. She passed away fortified by the last rites of her religion.
She is survived by her husband, one son Carl, four sisters, Mrs. Geo. Weber, of Victor, Montana; Mrs. Charles Bremer, Mrs. Joseph Tschudl, and Mrs. Will Ruse, of Dubuque, and one brother, Otto Summer, of Dubuque.
The funeral will be held Friday morning from the residence, 519 Kaufmann avenue, to St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in Mount Calvary cemetery.
