Linda McConnell-Wick, 79, of Warsaw Township, Brookville died early Sunday morning, July 11, 2021 at her home following a period of declining health.

Born on February 8, 1942 in Dubois, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Blanch Swyers Gardner.

She was a graduate of Ridgway High School and worked in the past at Brockway Glass and then as a housekeeper.

On August 31, 1963 in Ridgway she married George Wick. He preceded her in death in 1976.

Her hobbies included crocheting, canning, reading her Bible and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those surviving are her two sons, David and Bill Wick; a daughter, Brenda Wick; six grandchildren, Jr., Shawn, Autum, Daisy, Kelly and Austin; and four great grandchildren, Lindsey, Hunter, Tucker and Elliott.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Visnesky.

Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 12:30-2PM with funeral services being held at 2PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, Pa.

Interment will be in Vandervort Cemetery, Clover TWP, Jefferson County.

The family suggests memorial donation be made to the American Cancer Society.
