Ruth A. Speck, 70, of Dubuque, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013, at home.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at Rockdale United Methodist Church, 1500 Old Mill Road. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.

Ruth was born on March 7, 1943, in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of Ralph and Anna Mae (Whitaker) Meyer.

Surviving are her children, Diane Etten, Jill Kocina and Michael Speck; a sister, Paula Westrich; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ralph and Anna Mae Meyer.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque.
