Richard Allen Pohl Jr., 60, of 1412 Harrison St., died at 5:13 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 1992, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Nov. 21, 1931, in Burlington, he was the son of Richard A. and Edna Rose Nicholas Pohl Sr.
He was a 1949 graduate of Burlington High School and a staff sergeant in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the West Burlington Christian Church.
Mr. Pohl was a technical writer for J. I. Case Co. for 23 years.
Survivors include his parents of Burlington; two brothers, Robert Pohl of Westminster, Colo., and Frederick Pohl of Burlington; one sister, Maryann Schmitz of Burlington; and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call after 8 a.m. Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lunning Chapel.
The funeral for Mr. Pohl will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Jack Howard officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the West Burlington Christian Church Missions.
