Esther Wagler

Esther Wagler, 82, of 1103 S. Ninth St., died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 1993, at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Sept. 30, 1910, in Burlington, she was he daughter of Charles J. and May (McCarty) Dietsch. She married Ben N. Wagler Sept. 30, 1924, in Burlington. He died Sept. 29, 1988.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Burlington Apostolic Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, William Wagler and Paul R. Wagler, both of Burlington; two daughters, Dana Weiss of Burlington, and Karen Joyce McCullough of Des Moines; one sister, Veda Miller of Burlington; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lunning Chapel.

The funeral for Mrs. Wagler will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Burlington Apostolic Christian Church with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Burlington Apostolic Christian Church.
