Hans Thomson

Hans Thomson, 75, route 1 Mediapolis, died Saturday, January 24, Burlington Medical Center.

Born Apr 7, 1905 in Des Moines county, he was the son of Henry and Anna Thomson. He married Edith McClintic on November 30, 1927, at Burlington. He was a retired farmer.

Surviving: His wife; five daughters, Delores Greene, West Burlington, Margaret Dill, Newhall, Calif., Marcia Swank, Canyon Country, Calif., Marilyn Marshall, Sperry, and Cathy Jarrett, Mediapolis; a brother, Lawrence Thomson, Sr., Burlington; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral was 3 p.m. Monday, January 26, Fry chapel, Mediapolis, the Rev. Bruce Pullen; Memorial Park cemetery.

A memorial has been established to Mediapolis Chapter of Future Farmers of America.
