NEW LONDON - Fred Wagner, 94, former New London resident, died at Fayetteville, Ark., Monday, Oct. 22.
He was born at Lyons, Kan. May 26, 1885, the son of Theodore and Louisa Wagner. He married Maggie Gugeler; she died earlier.
Surviving: Two sons, Ivan, of Arkansas, and Wyman, West Burlington; three daughters, Phyllis Weyles, Fayetteville, Opal Page, Holland, Mich., and Ruth Wiggins, of Ireland; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles, Danville; sister, Nellie Tonkinson, Cedar Rapids.
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Harmony Bible church, Rev. Edward Davis; Jaggar cemetery. The body is at Elliott chapel here.
