MRS. SPERBER, AUGUSTA, DIES; RITES TUESDAY

Augusta, la., Oct. 12.—Funeral services for Mrs. John Sperber, 74, who died in her home near Augusta Saturday evening after an illness of two years, will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic church at Augusta Tuesday at 10 a.m., with interment in North Augusta cemetery. Reverend Father Ernest will officiate. Mrs. Sperber, whose maiden name was Miss Katherine Dornhafner, was born Dec. 1, 1862. She wed Mr. Sperber May 2, 1889. Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Edna Jaster and grandson Paul Jaster; two brothers, George and Anthony Dornhafner and four sisters, Mrs. Clara Gross and Mrs. Margaret Widerspach and the Misses Rose and Tille Dornhafner. Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and the Altar and Rosary society.
A meeting of Rosary and Altar society members will be held at the home tonight at 7:30 o'clock.
