MARY BRUMM

Mrs. Mary Brumm, 64 years old, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. G. Fritz, 1945 Sunnyside avenue, at 7:30 o’clock Sunday morning (August 2, 1928) after a lingering illness; She came to this city when a young girl. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, July 17, 1864. She married John Brumm in Des Moines county, shortly after which she moved to Texas in 1909, living there until 1817 (sic: 1917), when she returned here. Her husband passed away in 1915. She was a member of the First Christian church.

Surviving are Mrs. Selma Meadows, a daughter; Mrs. W. G. Fritz, a sister; two brothers, Charles Wichhart of Mediapolis and J. C. Wichhart of Burlington.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o’clock this morning from Burnett-Wallin’s funeral home. Reverend M. H. Williams will preside. She will be buried in Aspen Grove cemetery.
