Mattie Goudie

Mediapolis - Mattie Goudie, 86, died Monday, Dec. 16, at the Mediapolis Care Center, where she has been a patient since September.

She was born Dec. 7, 1888, near Mediapolis, the daughter of Gilbert and Ida Lyons Goudie, and lived most of her life in Morning Sun, where she was a member of United Presbyterian church.

Surviving: A sister-in-law, Mrs. Elsie Goudie, Morning Sun; one niece, Mrs. Eva Allen, Roseville, Ill.; and two nephews, Fred, Morning Sun, and Paul, Balboa, Canal Zone.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday, Pierce funeral home, Morning Sun, Rev. Wendell Wright, Elmwood Cemetery.
