Mrs. Esther M. Kerr

Mrs. Esther Marie Kerr, 74, Kingston, Rt., died in Burlington Memorial hospital at 7:10 a.m., Saturday, Aug.17.

She was the daughter of Herman and Frederica Schulz Laue and was born July 21, 1900, in Burlington. She was married to Walter W. Kerr at Wapello on Oct. 11, 1919.

Mrs. Kerr was a member of the United Methodist church.

Surviving: the husband, one son, Clayton L. Kerr, Middletown, Rt 1; two daughters, Mrs. Gilda Rutter, Mediapolis, Rt 1, and Mrs. Joyce McDowell, LaPuente, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren,; three brothers and two sisters, Arthur, Harvey and Oscar Laue and Mrs. Meta Schultz, all of Burlington, and Mrs. Frieda Bedell of Kingston rural.

Funeral: Prugh's Chapel at 1:30 Tuesday, Rev. Rodney Bennett; Memorial Park Cemetery.
