JONES, G. NELSON, M.D, Secretary and Treasurer of Des Moines County Medical Society; office 322 1/2 N. 3d St. ; is a native of Quebec Province, Canada ; graduated at McGill Medical College, Montreal, Canada ; in 1874, spent one year in the St. Thomas Hospital, London, and came to Burlington in October, 1875 ; was elected Secretary and Treasurer of the Des Moines County Medical Society Nov. 15, 1876, a position which he continues to hold.
