HUTCHINSON, A. C, County Treasurer ; was born in Haddam, Conn., Nov. 1, 1836, and came to Keokuk, Iowa, in 18t6 ; after a residence there of two years, he removed to Tennessee, where he lived until 1861, when he came to Burlington, and engaged in the dry goods business, first as salesman, then as proprietor, until he was elected Treasurer in 1875 ; he was re-elected in 1877; was Secretary of Independent School District for four years, from 1871 to 1875.
