HITCHKNS, J. E., blacksmith and horse-shoeing, 113 Columbia St.; he was born in Chillicothe, Ross Co., Ohio. Dec. 22, 1833, and came to Burlington in 1865. Married Feb. 20, 1858, Sarah A. Ray. He is a Democrat.
