Paul J. Krogmann, 86, of Petersburg, (rural Earlville), died Saturday, Aug. 10, 1996, at the Good Neighbor Home, Manchester.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Petersburg, with burial in the church cemetery, (next sentence omitted)

Mr. Krogmann spent his entire life on the family century farm near Petersburg, where he and his wife farmed until his retirement in 1980.

He was born on Dec. 12, 1909 in Petersburg, son of Anton and Susan (Klaren) Krogmann. He married Myrtle Wilgenbusch on Feb. 6, 1934 in Sand Springs.

Surviving are his wife, Myrtle; three sons, Paul T. (and Rosemary) and Jerome (and Rose Ann) all of Manchester, and James (and Marian) of Lamont; 29 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Veronica Goedken, of Dyersville.

He was preceded in death by three grandchildren; his parents; and a sister, Clara Goedken.
