Glenn O'Dell, age 74, of Waukon, Iowa died Wednesday, October 15, 1986 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 18 at Shelly Funeral Home in Manchester, Iowa with burial in the Oakland Cemetery in Manchester, Iowa. Casket bearers were Harry Mellody, Martin Moser, Everett, Milo and Robert Timmerman, and Donald Wickman.

Glenn was born August 19, 1912 in Manchester, Iowa to George and Ruby (Graham) O'Dell. He attended Manchester Schools. He married Gladys A. Timmerman on November 20, 1932 in Waterloo, Iowa. She died May 14, 1984 in Waukon, Iowa. He was the owner of O'Dell Spraying Service while living in Manchester and after moving to Waukon, Iowa.

His wife, Gladys, two daughters, and his parents preceded him in death.

Surviving are a son, Ray O'Dell of Cherry Grove, Minnesota; 2 daughters, Janice Brokaw and
Lois Wickman, both of Marion, Iowa; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, George O'Dell of Sacramento, California and a sister, Lois Tillery of Waterloo, Iowa.
