Eugene McElmeel, 59, whose birthplace was Manchester and whose life was spent in this vicinity as a farmer, died at the home of his son, John, in Dubuque, last week Thursday. The body was brought to Delhi on Saturday and funeral services, conducted by Rev. F. W. McKinley, were held at St. John's church of that village. Mr. McElmeel's wife, Elizabeth, died in March 1932. He is survived by 2 sons, John, of Dubuque and Eugene of Worthington; a daughter, Sarah, of Racine, Wis.; a brother, John P. McElmeel, of Dubuque, and a sister, Mrs. Rose E. Duffy of Ryan, who have the sympathy of many friends.
