Lawrence L. Pulver
Lawrence L. Pulver, 71, of Delhi died Thursday evening in his home following a lingering illness.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Delhi United Methodist church. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Mason officiated at the services. The John N. Porter Post 160 of the American Legion conducted military rites. The Clifton funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
He was born at Delhi Dec. 22, 1898, a son of George and Eudoria Pulver. He was married to Helen Maulson of Delhi Nov. 26,1925. Mr. Pulver was a carpenter and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Dora) Hodges of Delhi, Mrs. Calvin (Florence) Miller of Delhi, and Mrs. Benny (Elsie) Otten of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
