The remains of Lon Robbins were brought here from Bethany, Mo., for burial last Saturday. The funeral was held in the M. E. church, and interment was in the family lot in the Davis City cemetery. Rev. Place officiated. The deceased was a young man 30 years old, a son of the late John Robbins, and was born and raised in Decatur county, but for the past two or three years had been making his home at Bethany. He was a most exemplary young man, honest and upright, and ever ready to do a good turn for any one in sickness or trouble, was a loving son and brother in the home circle, and a general favorite with all. The brothers and sisters have the sympathy of all in this the third death in the family circle in the past year. But God knows what is best and He wounds but to heal. Let us all look to Him and still trust in His love and goodness to poor sinful man.
