John Riley Green (b. in Decatur Co. Dec. 25, 1871) and Mariah Anna Brammer (b. 1879 in Grand River, Ia.) were married Feb. 25, 1899, at Leon, Ia. Mariah was the daughter of Wm. Harvey and Druzilla Brammer. They had four children: (1) Clifton (Pinky), b. Aug. 25, 1903, md. Josephine E. Weldon, b. June 24, 1907. Their two girls are Lena May (Green) Santora, b. Feb. 13, 1925, and Barbara Jean Green (Bryant) Neube, b. July 26, 1927. (2) Gertrude Irene Green (Edwards) Mott, b. Sept. 26, 1904. Gertrude and Home Glen Edwards were married Mar. 2, 1921. They had one girl: Marjorie Lucille Edwards Davis, b. May 24, 1923, in Burlington, Ia. (3) Paul Riley Green, b. Dec. 5, 1906, and married Dorothy Simonsen, b. Jan. 19, 1909, in June 21, 1926. They had one son: Paul Riley, Jr., b. Aug. 30, 1929. (4) Fred Lyman Green, b. Sept. 30, 1912. Fred married Esther E. Parson Oct. 20, 1934. They had no children.
