Bishop G[eorge]. Leslie DeLapp
November 04, 1895 ~ December 01, 1981
G. Leslie DeLapp was born on November 4, 1895 in East Delavan, Wisconsion. He was baptized on June 6/7, 1909, and served during World War I.

He was ordained a priest on January 4, 1925; ordained an elder on July 13, 1925; and a high priest, bishop on April 9, 1926.

Bishop DeLapp served on Graceland College's board of trustee from 1928 to 1935.

Bishop DeLapp was named a member of the presiding bishopric on April 17, 1932 and ordained presiding bishop on March 14, 1940.

Bishop DeLap authored Zionic Procedures (1941-42) and In The World (1973).

Bishop DeLapp was released from his duties in 1966 and superannuated in 1970.

He resided in Independence, Missouri with his wife, Ardyce Lucile Case DeLapp, whom he married on July 25, 1926.

Bishop DeLapp died on December 1, 1981. Ardyce Lucile (Case) DeLapp was born on July 7, 1903, and died on February 18, 1990. They were interred at Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, Missouri.
