John Brown (1864-1947) son of Joseph and Hulda (Young) Brown married Rosa Fogleman (1874-1946) daughter of Gaston and Suzanna (Cobb) Fogleman. Joseph was a native of Indiana and Hulda migrated from Kentucky.

John and Rosa lived east of Grand River. They had six children: They had six children: Rolla and Opal died as infants, Dellah (married Clate Vanderpool), Ellree (married Mary Greenland), Leonard (married Maxine Munyon), and Arnold (married Cleo Goucher). John and Rosa were faithful members of the Baptist Church from early life until they died.

Transcriber's Note: I just noticed that both of my paternal grandmother's lines are in this family. Hulda Young Brown was my grandmother's great aunt on her father's side and Cleo Goucher was her first cousin on her mother's side.
