Biography ~Glen E. Trullinger, Sr.
Graceland University, Lamoni, Iowa

Glen E. Trullinger, Sr. was born on May 17, 1926, in Worth County, Missouri. Glen served in the Navy from 1944 to 1946 and worked as a livestock farmer in Eagleville, Missouri, before beginning his academic pursuits.

He enrolled at Graceland and completed his B.A. in business education in 1968, then obtained his M.S. in secondary school administration from Northwest Missouri State University in 1971. That year, Glen returned to Graceland as a member of the buisness education faculty.

Glen was known for bringing real-life business situations into the classroom, and taught advanced microcomputer applications toward the end of his Graceland career. He eventually obtained his Ed.S. from Central Missouri State University. Glen retired as professor emeritus from Graceland in 1990.

Outside of the classroom, Glen served nine years on the executive board of the Iowa Business Education Association and one year as that board's president.
