Shirley A. Redmond, 88, of Bloomfield, died Feb. 7, 2012, at Davis County Hospital Long Term Care in Bloomfield. She was born Aug. 10, 1923, in Bloomfield to Elma Jane Watts. She married Audie T. Redmond Nov. 2, 1945, in Bloomfield. He preceded her in death March 24, 1983. Shirley was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary in Bloomfield, TTT Chapter Q and Order of the Eastern Star Rose Chapter.

She is survived by a daughter, Becky (Edward) Melka of Riverwoods, Ill.; and a son, Randy (Brenda) Redmond of Eden Prairie, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield; with Pastor Kevin Gingerich officiating. Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday with Eastern Star services at 4 p.m. followed by family visitation until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
