On the 3d inst. a remarkable occurrence transpired in Van Meter, Dallas county. Two of the oldest people in the county died, and were buried the same day, their ages averaging ninety-one years. Mrs. Crowl was eighty-two years old, while A. M. Sprakes was gathered to his fathers at the ripe old age of one hundred years.
