Stella Louise Cox, 72, of 609 S.E. Broad Ave. died of a lung ailment Sunday at a daughter’s home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Indianola Heights Christian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.

Mrs. Cox, a homemaker, was born in Stuart.

She is survived by two daughters, Joann Jobe and Beverly Bice, both of Des Moines; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Southtown Funeral Home, where the family will beet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
