Thursday, August 22, 1996Yvonne J. Cory, 73, of Dexter died of cancer Tuesday at Hospice Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be at Dexter Cemetery.
Mrs. Cory was born in Davenport and moved to Dexter 20 years ago from Mason City. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Hopes of Dexter; a son, Jerry Easley of Des Moines; two grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will meet friends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
