Services for a former Des Moines resident, Rex E. Hill, 56, who died Saturday at his home in Dallas, Tex., of cancer, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the Fisher Funeral Home in Redfield with burial at Dexter.

He was born in Dexter and had lived most of his life in Des Moines before leaving in 1957. He had previously lived in St. Louis, Mo., before moving to Dallas. He was employed at the Wood Diamond T Sales Co., and the Des Moines Mack Truck Co., both in Des Moines.

Survivors include his wife, Dorthea; two sons, Rex of Sinsbury, Conn., and Raymond of Dallas, Tex.; his mother, Mrs. Irene Dalen of Des Moines; two brothers, Lester of Des Moines and William of Stone Mountain, Ga., and a sister, Mrs. Corles Spring of Redfield.
