William M. Peer, 67, of 3102 Kingman blvd., died of a heart ailment Thursday in Iowa Methodist hospital. He had been ill a month.
Mr. Peer was a motor salesman for International Harvester Co. for 22 years, retiring in 1963. He was born at Dexter and lived 15 years at Jefferson before moving here 40 years ago.
He was a member of Grace Methodist Church, Home Masonic Lodge, Des Moines Consistory, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine and the Elks Lodge.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
Surviving are his widow, Evelyn; two sisters, Mrs. Marguerite Shannon and Mrs. Esther Lantz of Anderson, Mo., and two brothers, Ralph of Atlantic and Dale of Modesta, Calif.
The family suggests memorials in the form of contributions to the Shrine’s Hospital for Crippled Children at Minneapolis.
