Frances Ikerd Rites Tuesday

Services for Mrs. Frances V. Ikerd, 74, of 605 Forest ave., will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home, with burial in Dexter.

Mrs. Ikerd died of a heart ailment Saturday at the Hutchison Nursing Home, 721 Sixteenth st., following a five-month illness. Born in Shasbury, Vt., Mrs. Ikerd had lived in Des Moines 30 years, and previously in Vermont.

She attended First Church of the Open Bible and was a member of Rebekah Lodge in Dallas County.

Surviving are three sons, Solen Calloway, Thomas Mills and William Mills, all of Des Moines; three brothers, Arthur Irwin and Thomas Irwin, both of Des Moines, and Ralph Irwin, of Denver, Colo.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
