Anna Greta Fredricksdotter Björk (1848 – 1925)

Born in Skaraborg län, year 1848, she together with her husband, Lars Swanson (1835 – 1917), came to this country quite a number of years ago, to this locality, where they resided up till the death of her husband several years ago. Since she has made her home with her adopted daughter, Sigrid Kristina Blomqvist, and her husband Albert Lavine, and when the Lavines moved to Correctionville, Iowa , she went with them and it was here she passed away (19 Jan 1925).

Besides the adopted daughter and family, she leaves one sister, Mrs. C. J. Linhult, residing several miles north of town. The remains were taken to Kiron for burial in the Kiron cemetery by the side of her husband. Funeral services were held from the Mission church Thursday afternoon conducted by Rev. E. Glad, pastor of the Lutheran church, attended by a number of old neighbors and friends.
