Automobile Funeral
An unaccustomed sight occurred on the streets of Ida Grove last Saturday, in the form of the automobile funeral of the late John Anderson. The automobile hearse from Battle Creek conveyed the remains from here to the Swedish Baptist church south of Arthur, where Rev. Mr. Schwartz of Chicago had charge of the services. Mr. Anderson's death occurred in Ida Grove Thursday, the result of acute pneumonia, caused by exposure when he leaped from a train last Tuesday morning and lay for several hours beside the track until picked up.

John A. Anderson was born about 45 years ago, near Deloit, Iowa and has resided in Chicago for the last several years where he had a position with the street railway company. He leaves his mother and three brothers and one sister: Oscar and Charles Anderson of Arthur. Mrs. Edith Lindgren of Rodman, Iowa, and Reuben Anderson of Chicago.
