Funeral services for Mrs. Louis Kelding, 78, were held April 26 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Wheatland, with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating.

Mrs. Kelding died April 23 at her home in Wheatland.

Mary Wilhelmina Copp was born Dec. 27, 1887, in Clinton, the daughter of William and Doris Witt Copp. She was a graduate of the Wheatland high school and taught schools in the Wheatland area.

She was married to Louis Kelding Dec. 18, 1907. The couple farmed near Wheatland until they retired and moved to town in 1943. Mrs. Kelding was a lifelong member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland and past president of both the Big Rock and Wheatland Ladies Act.

Survivors include her husband, 4 daughters, Mrs. Mike Schmidt and Mrs. Ellen Horstmann, both of Wheatland, Mrs. Reldo Riedesel, Bennett and Mrs. Melvin Wiebel, Lowden; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Mrs. Walter Fox, Mrs. Edward Beuthien, Dolly Copp and Esther Copp, all of Wheatland and Mrs. Hilda Snyder, Dixon.
