WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — Brearton, Connie L., 67, of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away at home on Feb. 11 after a short illness surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born July 23, 1941, in Savanna, IL, the daughter of Harold and Doris (Mumford) Brown.She graduated from York Community High School, Thomson, IL, in 1959.She married Michael Brearton in 1960; they later divorced. In 1973, she graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in Roswell, NM, with an Associate of Arts degree in nursing. In 1977, she graduated with a CRNA degree from Wesley Medical Center School of Anesthesia, Wichita, KS. She worked in NM, Texas and came to FL in 1987 working at several Medical Facilities in the Tampa area and was currently employed at BayCare Anesthsia in Brooksville.Connie loved traveling, specially visiting her grandchildren and spending time with her friends at the Beach.Connie is survived by a daughter, Sheri (Andrew) Ramsey of Seattle WA; 3 sons, Scott of Lake Jackson, TX, Jeff (Kai) of Morrison, IL, and Mark of Corpus Christi, TX; 10 grandchildren; sister, Jean (Larry) Smith of Thomson, IL; and many dear friends.Hodges Funeral Home of Zephyrhills is in charge of arrangements. Services will be private. A time of sharing memories with family and friends will be at Connie’s home on Saturday from 2 to 4. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice or the charity of your choice.Death date: Feb. 11, 2009
