MAQUOKETA — Rosemary M. Morehead, 78, of Maquoketa, died Thursday at the Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa following a brief illness. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church in Maquoketa with the Rev. James Chappell officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Maquoketa. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa where a rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Saturday one hour before service time at the church. Death date: Jan. 8, 2009
