CLINTON, Mo. — Georgianna L. Bush, age 65, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 19, 2009, at the Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, Illinois, next to her parents. George requested memorials to P.A.W.S. or S.T.A.R.T. and may be sent to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, 314 West Jefferson Street, Clinton, Missouri, 64735. Fond memories may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com.George was born in Clinton, Iowa. She was the daughter of George W. and Leona Helena Pyer Bush. She came to Clinton, Missouri, 20 years ago as the executive director of the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce. She later worked for the Clinton Tourism Association and recently was a reporter for the Clinton Daily Democrat.She attended Clinton Christian Church and was a member of the Henry County Republican Club, the Clinton Senior Center Board, the Missouri Press Association, the Missouri Tourism Board and the Missouri Community Betterment.She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Leona Bush.She is survived by her long time companion, J.C. Smith; and friends, JoAnn Kemper and Kent and Diane Oberkrom of Clinton, Missouri, as well as others who considered her like family. Death date: Jan. 7, 2009
