Alice S. Mummert, 84, of Oak Glenn Nursing Home, Coal Valley, IL formerly of East Moline, IL, died Friday in Lutheran Hospital, Moline, IL

The funeral will be at 1:30 PM Monday in Clinton Memorial Chapel of Clinton Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Paul O Pfaltzgraff of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 PM Sunday.

Alice Seneca Keeley was born Feb 18, 1900 in Maquaoketa, IA to Seneca F. Keeley and Mary Kelchner. She married Ralph R. Mummert on Feb 22, 1927 in Mt Carroll, IL. He died in 1976. She received her education in Clinton schools and lived in Clinton area most of her life. She moved to Savanna, IL in 1964 and later to East Moline, IL residing with her daughter, Joan Cousins, in 1976. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her only child, Mrs. Byrl (Joan) Cousins of East Moline, IL., two granddaughters, Linda Gatewood-Glover of California, Barbara Cousins of Lakewood, CO, three great grandchildren; four sisters; Emma Broadrick, Sybil Limaker, and Mrs. Laura Yound, all of Clinton, IA and a sister Zella Thompsen of Baldwin,ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother and two sisters.
