Dubuque Weekly Times, August 15, 1861.

Dr. Kelly of DeWitt, Clinton county volunteers, died of sun-stroke in the streets of Burlington, on Friday last. His body was immediately sent to his friends in charge of two members of the company, and arrived in DeWitt on Sunday evening. The Doctor was a man of education and served as a surgeon in the Mexican War.
