The Clinton Herald Myrle B. Krambeck, 79, of the Alverno Health Care Facility, formerly of 909 S. 18th St., died Thursday in the home. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in First Congregational, with the Rev. Robert Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sundday at Pape Funeral Home, and from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour Monday at the church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Pilgrim, Tom Burnett, Wayne Harksen, John Shaff, Edward Luckrits and Tom Hanifan. She was born July 4, 1917, in Clinton, to Floyd H. and Mary Garber Bickford. She married Don Krambeck, June 18, 1938. She was a 1935 graduate of Clinton High School. She had been employed as an inspector with the Clinton Garmet Co. During World War II, she had been employed as a secretary with the Iowa legislature in Des Moines, and as a medical secretary with Schick General Hospital in Clinton. She also worked as an accountant with the family feed, grain and hatchery business in Clinton. She was a member of First Congregational Church, the Clinton Art Association and Jane Lamb Agatha Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband; a son, James L. Krambeck of Des Moines; three grandsons; two brothers, John V. Bickford of Clinton, and Lauren J. Bickford of West Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Death date: Feb. 13, 1997.
