FULTON, Ill. — Lottie M. Schipper, 78, of Fulton, died Thursday, December 25, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center North, Clinton, IA, after a three-year battle with lung cancer.Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2008, at the Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, Ill., with Mr. John Stern, director of Self-Help Enterprises, Sterling, IL, officiating. There will be no visitation. The Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded. Interment of cremains will be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. Memorials may be made to Self-Help Enterprises, Sterling, IL. She was born June 15, 1930, in Wyoming, IA, to Edward and Luvina (Billman) Wosoba. Lottie was educated in Fulton Grade Schools and attended Fulton High School, Fulton, IL. She married Alvin R. Schipper on August 30, 1947, in Clinton, IA. He died November 11, 2002. She was employed by General Electric, Morrison, IL, for 381⁄2 years retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Fulton American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the GEM Club and the Self Help Parents Association. She enjoyed volunteer work, baking and crafts. Survivors include one son, Alvin R. Schipper Jr. of Sterling, IL; four nieces, Becky (Darrell) Van Scoyoc, Camanche, IA, Kathy (Bob) Marruffo, Galt, IL, Pamela (Chuck) Trodick, Le Claire, IA, Deanna (Earl) Sharon, Las Vegas, NV; four nephews, Robert “Mike” (Bonnie) McClary, Fulton, IL, Joseph (Vida) Wosoba, Fulton, IL, Eddie Wosoba, Fulton, IL, Ralph Peterson, Las Vegas, NV; sister in-law, Mrs. Nola Wosoba, Fulton, IL; special family members, Mike, Jenny, Cole and Andrew McClary; Stephanie Hochbaum and Christian Meggers, Fulton, IL, and Marie Dixon, Onalaska, WA; special friends, Evan and Julie Davis, Fulton, IL, and Jean Roeder, Fulton, IL; and her dog, Friskie.
