IED - Rachel Adena Merritt, Friday, January 22nd, 1904, at the age of 1 year, 20 days.
After an illness of but four days duration the youngest daughter of Will and Emma Merritt died FRiday evening at nine o'clock of pneumonia.
The funeral service was held from the home Sunday afternoon, Rev. D.C. Dutton of the Methodist church officiating.

To dwell with him who gave;
Another little darling babe
Is sheltered in the grave.
God needed one more angel child
Amidst his shining band,
And so he bent with loving smile,
And clasped our darling's hand."
