DIED - In Wagner Township, Clayton County, Jan. 17th, of inflammation of the bowels, Alfred B. Ames, aged 43 years.

Mr. Ames was born in Shoreland, Addison County, Vermont. He was a worthy Christian man, and a member of the M.E. Church. A companion and four children mourn his early exit from them.
