DIED - In St. Paul, July 23, '87, beloved wife of Leopold Strouse, senior partner of Strouse Bros., McGregor.
Mrs. Strouse will be remembered as a teacher in the McGregor schools previous to her marriage to Mr. Strouse, and after the wedding for a year or two residing on Ann street.
She was a lady of rare attainments, a kindly disposition, affectionately devoted to the home life.
Three children were born to the union; the first born having died in baby-hood lies buried in Oakland cemetery; the second, a daughter, is a comfort and solace to the bereaved husband and father; the third a babe, but a few days old.
The many friends of the family in McGregor will sympathise with the severe loss which Mr. Strouse sustains.
The funeral occurred in St. Paul on Sunday last from the residence, corner of Oak and Chestnut streets, and was largely attended. Her age was about 30 years.
