Gritzmacher, H. H. died 1894

Elkader Register, 31 May 1894.

Died, at his home in Garnavillo, on Tuesday, Mr. H. H. Gritzmacher, at the age of 71 years. For several years past his health had gradually broken down, and he had grown feebler. Yet, this spring he had rallied somewhat and was about to re-establish himself in the blacksmith's business, which he had abandoned several years ago on account of failing health. A new shop was in the process of erection when death overtook him. His remains were buried at the new cemetery on Friday afternoon.
