Elkader Register, 15 Mar. 1894.

Mrs. Papin, the widow of A. Papin, at one time editor of Der Herold and a well known resident of Elkader, died at her residence in Dubuque on Friday last, at the age of 51 years. She leaves seven children, besides her parents, two brothers and a sister The funeral was held on Sunday.

Her name can be found on the birth record of Cora Ottilie Papin, d/o Adolph & Anna (Hartig) Papin in the Clayton County Register of Births for 1880, entry #115. Anna is buried in Linwood cemetery, Dubuque, IA
