Elkader Register, 26 Oct. 1893.

Simon Latta, who lives near Communia, mourns the loss of a five year old child, which died Monday. The funeral was held at Communia yesterday.

Maggie has a gravestone in Communia cemetery with dates 3/14/1888 - 10/24/1893. On the same stone is Willie, 4/3/1883 - 8/2/1894. Children of S & L
