John Cree, an old resident of Clayton county, died last week, and was buried at Oak Hill cemetery, east of town.

Note added by S. Ferrall 2/24/2026:

John Cree, his wife & children (Mary, 54; Julia, 20; Wm W., 18; and John C., 13) were living in Mallory twp. as of the 1885 Iowa State census.

John is buried in East Side cemetery, Colesburg, Delaware co. Iowa
