Co. Prisoner Dies in Hospital Friday
West Union, Iowa, February 11, 1932 - Albert Beckman of LIttleport, who was confined in the Fayette county jail where he was serving time for unlawful assembly, died last Friday, February 5.

He had been ill for several days suffering from pneumonia. Sheriff A.A. Robertson had him removed to the West Union community hospital, where he died.

Beckman was about 48 years old and was serving a short sentence.
