Eckert, Mrs. S.J. died 1867

Mrs. S.J. Eckert of this city died at Fredericksburg on Friday last. Mr. Eckert and the deceased left here on the 14th to visit friends at Fredericksburg. She caught a cold which took the form of diptheria and in a few days the spirit of this most amiable lady left "its clay tenement."

The body was conveyed by Monday's train to Columbus, Wisconsin, where the parents of Mrs. E. reside.
